Holly was an original member of Thee Headcoatees and she was also the first one to do her own records away from the band releasing her first single on Vinyl Japan, the ‘Jiggy-Jiggy‘ E.P. in 1994. Her first album ‘The Good Things‘ was released on Damaged Goods and what an album, still one of my favourites. She has since then released ten albums on five different labels and loads of singles too (all featured on the ‘Singles Round-up‘ album, Damgood 190).
Holly left Thee Headcoatees in 1999 and is now a bona-fide artist in her own right. She now has a regular band around her featuring Bruce Brand on Drums, John Gibbs on Bass and is also working with American garage band The Green Hornes. She has toured the states three times and regularly gets fantastic reviews everywhere she plays.
She is currently working on her next album which will come out on Damaged Goods later this year.
This single was recorded at Londons now famous Toe rag Studio’s as part of the album sessions with Liam Watson at the controls and has American Garage band The Green Hornes as back up.
There will be a limited edition on Green and white stripey vinyl too!
