Hooton 3 Car were one of the great bands of the mid/late 1990’s. Probably one of the first ‘EMO’ bands. They hailed from the Sunderland/Durham area.
Totally melodic with great vocals, H3C’s solid chunky music proved the basis for numerous UK tours, a Japanese tour, the development of the Rumblestrip record label, a few Radio 1 John Peel Sessions and an impressive list of CD and vinyl releases. The band called it a day and Chris went on to form Ohno Express.
We did one single with them, long sold out.
