Martin Savage & the Jiggerz are a supergroup international power trio!
We have the French-Japanese rhythm section from King Salami & the Cumberland Three, Eric Baconstrip & Kamikaze U.T. Vincent, the Sly & Robbie of rock and roll, teaming up with their old pal, Sweden’s garage-punk legend, Martin Savage (The Blacks, the Locomotions, Tokyo Knives, and a dozen more…). With the Jiggerz’ all you get are 1970’s punk rock hits, simple, fast & straight to the point, the way it should be.
Martin Savage & Eric Baconstrip already played together in the Playmobils (along with Joe the Dog, from Lucy & the Rats), who released a great garage punk album in 2005 on P-Trash records. Baconstrip & Kamikaze U.T. are known for being the killer rhythm section of King Salami & the Cumberland Three, but they also played in the best punk rock band London had in the mid 2000’s, the Chinese Lungs. Baconstrip played in the Ulcers, the Parkinsons, Paul Collins Beat, the Nips and many more… And Martin Savage started his career as a teenager in the 90’s in the Blacks, and a dozen killer bands from Stockholm: Dixie Buzzards, Locomotions, Tokyo Knives, Murder By Guitar, etc… With this pedigree, no wonders the Jiggerz are pure dynamite!! They formed in 2021 and have already released 4 singles, and played shows in the UK, Europe and Canada.
