Our first ever release by Billy Childish. A split single with Thee Headcoatees & Thee Headcoats

It’s a split 7″ which came out in 2 different editions, the first was a Red/Yellow cover with white and blue splattered vinyl, that sold out really quick and even entered the top 10 of the indie charts so a few weeks later we got a repress done, this time it was a black and white cover and the vinyl was clear with a few swirly bits in it.

Our second release with Billy Childish was a one off 7″ from the briefly reformed Milkshakes.

Recorded at the same time as the final Milkshakes album ‘Still Talkin’ ’bout’ which came out on Vinyl Japan.

This was a 2 track, one sided FLEXI DISC which came with a wraparound sleeve in a poly bag. The Shout disbanded shortly after this and became GENIUS FREAK (see YUBB07)


Davey Crockett

Our first proper single with Thee Headcoatees, they asked us what tracks we would like so we said ‘Davey Crockett’ and ‘Young Blood’ please.
They went into the studio and two weeks later the DAT arrived.
We pressed in on marbled orange vinyl, there’s a few test pressings on black vinyl too.

Limited edition of 2000 BROWN vinyl 7″ Headcoat Lane was Billy and Bruce doing their Sherlock & Watson routine which they first did on the ‘My Dear Watson’ single, which came out on Estrus Records in that thereUSA. The b-side was Thee Headcoats doing a roaring version of Link Wray’s ‘Comanche’
