Headcoat Lane

DAMGOOD007

Limited edition of 2000 BROWN vinyl 7″ Headcoat Lane was Billy and Bruce doing their Sherlock & Watson routine which they first did on the ‘My Dear Watson’ single, which came out on Estrus Records in that thereUSA. The b-side was Thee Headcoats doing a roaring version of Link Wray’s ‘Comanche’

Davey Crockett

DAMGOOD004

Our first proper single with Thee Headcoatees, they asked us what tracks we would like so we said ‘Davey Crockett’ and ‘Young Blood’ please.
They went into the studio and two weeks later the DAT arrived.
We pressed in on marbled orange vinyl, there’s a few test pressings on black vinyl too.

Dils Dils Dils

DAMGOOD008

This was a great compilation of the LA band The Dils which we licensed from Lost Records who did the vinyl version. This has 29 tracks, 13 more than the LP

Santa Claus

DAMGOOD012

Our first Christmas single, it was a 2 track Picture Disc 7″ featuring Thee Headcoatees covering the Sonics ‘Santa Claus’ with classic intro by Billy Childish.

The Posh Boy Story (More Or Less)

DAMGOOD011

I met Robbie Fields from Posh Boy somewhere in LA back in 1992 along with Rodney Bingenheimer (That’s Rodney On The ROQ) when i was giving him some new DG releases for his KROQ show. He asked me if i’d like to release anything from the Posh Boy catalogue so we talked it over and this […]

Trembling Of Life

DAMBOOK1

This was Damaged Goods first book release and features the poetry of Mr Billy Childish.
At this point over 30 collections of poetry had already been published all over the world.
This release was limited to 1000 copies which are now long since sold out.

Every Bit Of Me

DAMGOOD017

Another 2 track 7″ from Thee Headcoats, two really nasty tracks on this one, ‘Every Bit Of Me’ and ‘Never To Love Again’ are probably Thee Headcoats at their most powerful. Originally on White of Green vinyl, there also seems to be some pale blue viinyl about but i can’t say i remember that pressing! […]

Sexless EP

DAMGOOD014

This was one of our best selling 7″ singles ever on Damaged Goods, can’t remember how many but quite a lot. It came with a 16 page booklet featuring the band doing spoof photos of the Madonna Sex book and a piece of tin foil with a rude word written on it in felt tip, […]

Sunflower

DAMGOOD016

Lovesick started off their life as just ‘Love’, I was never too sure if they had heard of Arthur Lee’s band but it didn’t seem to matter, they released a great single on the ‘Firece’ label out of Swansea, which is also where they were from, called ‘Welsh Girl’. John Peel loved the single and […]
