We first met Trelane in 2267 AD whilst on a supply mission to the Beta VI colony.

Trelane was young, courageous, dressed in calf length moccasins – claimed to be the ex-property of one Peter Tork –  a stupidly long-fringed cowboy jacket and ‘hip’ pants.

‘You cats dig The Monkees?’ Quired Trelane.

‘Of course,’ we replied.

 ‘Groovy,’ laughed Trelane, ‘I name you cats The Squires of Gothos. Got a harpsichord?’

‘No, sorry.’

‘Don’t worry, I’ll conjure one up – and here’s a studio. Now for Pete’s sake stop fooling around and let’s record!’

And so it was, and here is the result. Dig!!!
