Modernity Killed Every Night

The Wolfmen follow-up their 4 limited edition singles including Two Eyes, the NUMBER ONE smash on the BBC Asian Network chart from November 2007 and the Mojo number one ‘Needle In The Camel’s Eye’ with a brand their debut album, a delicious collision of glam-rock and punk-rock ‘MODERNITY KILLED EVERY NIGHT’ on LP & CD

The band is formed of Marco Pirroni (Siouxsie & The Banshees/Adam & The Ants/Sinead O’Connor) and Chris Constantinou (Adam Ant/Jackie Onassid/Iggy Pop).  But as RADIO 1’s Bobby Friction says, “They’ve got pedigree, a full-on pedigree.  I’ve been playing them on Radio 1 but – you know what? – f*** pedigree, they’re an amazing band and they’re going to take you somewhere else musically…”

It’s a 11 track album and features the singles ‘Jackie Says’, ‘Cecilie’ and ‘Needle In The Camel’s Eye’ as well as 8 brand new tracks.

“Marco and Chris do growing old disgracefully moves with style.  With thumping Suicide-alike beatbox and glam-rockabilly guitars, the A-side is exuberant filth…”MOJO

“Is (Marco & Chris’) music as necessary in 2006 as it was nearly 30 years ago?  In a word, yes.  In more words, too f***ing right it is.”  — BBC.co.uk

The Wolfmen are also PLAYING LIVE throughout 2008, the next show is at the 333 club in Old Street on Thursday 17th of April.  Guest list and photo passes available now!
