As I’m sure you know, the Hope & Anchor was one of the most important venues of the punk era, with bands like the Stranglers, Saints, X-Ray Spex etc playing there at a time when they were in the charts, bearing in mind the capacity is about 100 that’s pretty amazing, so we thought we’d do a gig there and as the Cute Lepers were passing by they are headlining along with special guests Thee Spivs (who packed this place out last year) so get your tickets early or you may miss out, the pub itself has great beers and salty snacks a-plenty so a good night is on.
