Third single fromĀ Swansea’s Helen Love. Later covered by Ash would you believe!
Debut single from Monkhouse. They were a four piece hardcore band from Belfast reminiscent of Rocket From The Crypt. We also did their debut album.

Cuckooland’s second single on a limited brownish vinyl and a never released Cd single too. Their first single ‘Winter’ got single of the week on the Steve Lamacq show on BBC Radio 1 This also got picked up by Jonathan King and featured on his ‘Tip Sheet’ CD

Here’s a review from Sellotape Fanzine… “Nirvana have done it for the USA, 100,000 Bodybags should do it for the U.K. […]
Brighton band, Blubber’s second single following some great press in the NME and Melody Maker and the recent John Peel Session and live broadcast on Radio 1 as part of the ‘Brighton Rocks’ Festival too. We did a lot of work on this one and it sold about 10 copies!
3 track 7″ which features Frankie Stubbs from Leatherface on vox/Guitar, 2 exclusive to this single.
Follow up to their single on Rugger Bugger records featuring re-recordings of three tracks from their (at this point) recent John Peel Session. Rugrat featured members of Leatherface and Sofahead and described their sound as ‘Full on balls out sonic boom boys’!
Third single from Reading’s Cuckooland. The b-side is called ‘Richard Jobson Dance’ and it’s, as you can probably guess, a tribute to one of the most underrated dancers of the punk era but we can forgive him that as the Skids were a fine band.
