All The Filth…With Added Filth

Recordings by THE PORK DUKES, the original 1977 London punk band, are available again in this 30th Anniversary edition of ‘ALL THE FILTH’ with 4 bonus tracks.

They released three singles, ‘Bend & Flush’, ‘Throbbing Gristle’ and ‘Telephone Masturbator’ and an album ‘Pink Pork’ in 1977/8 on their own Wood Records, the debut single ‘Bend and Flush’, which went on to sell over 20,000 singles.

Probably on of the world’s rudest band, their tongue-in-cheek, expletive style was the fore runner for bands like The Macc Lads etc.

The band shied away from publicity and always maintained an air of mystery about them. The naughty content of their material ensured they were banned from many gigs, compounding this mystique. The split up in 1979 and the drummer went on to play in The Revillos.

THE PORK DUKES’ vinyl, deleted for 20 years, has become very collectible worldwide, with fans in the UK, Japan and America desperate for PORK DUKES recordings, plus a dedicated web site based in the USA. THE PORK DUKES ‘ songs have never before been released on CD but now Vinyl Japan has acquired worldwide rights to the ultimate ‘best of’ collection.
